I was commissioned to write 28 text entries for  Phaidon Design Classics, Phaidon Press 2006, ISBN 0714843997. This major publication aims to document the icons of design that have shaped our modern culture. Presenting key manufactured products which are universally recognised as outstanding examples of invention and innovation, and which have created a benchmark within their own time and area of production.

I have also authored the introductory essay for Designed with TLC, Glassbox - table light chair, DaMA 2005, ISBN 0954783662 for Glassbox , a Scottish design collective.
